"Well the place is an institution with many loyal customers despite being a bit of a dive with tables that need cleaning. However, most importantly, the yiros are amazing. I had lamb cooked over charcoal, hummus dressing, a load of salad and all wrapped in a thicker than usual flat bread. It was huge so I ate all the filling and half the bread. If you are not super hungry then I suggest the mini yiros."

"Popular food join the locality, drags you by the smoky smell. Reasonable food options at economical prices. The meat platter is a good choice which includes salad and pita bread. The Yiros appear to be popular with locals. The fries are crispy as well. Food is excellent. The restaurant interior needs better upkeep though."

"Great place with delicious food. I always order the lamb and its always great! The place is close to busy city areas and its perfect for a snack or a main course any time of the day. You dont even need a GPS to find this place, just follow the amazing charcoal grill smell."

"Yiros is really good and one of my favorite foods. The meat tastes amazing and is soft and juicy, and the pita bread is warm and filling. I like how the sauce and vegetables make it fresh and not too heavy. It’s a simple meal but very tasty, and I would happily eat it again."

"Yianni’s on Hindley is the kind of Greek joint that fixes your whole mood in about 30 seconds. You walk in hungry and leave holding a yiros that’s basically a warm, toasted pita hug with proper meat, heaps of tzatziki, and that little bit of charcoal magic that makes you go “yea nah this is the one.” Quick service, no mucking around, solid value, and it hits like a freight train in the best way. If you’re in the city and you want a feed that’s reliable, messy in a good way, and tastes like someone’s Greek uncle is running the grill out back, this is it. Tapeworm approved, malaka (said with love). Efcharisto, I was literaly ripping into it almost transformed into my caveman from ooh! OOHH!"

"You’ll find it by the smoke and smell and the long lineup, and when you do you won’t be disappointed as the meats are so tender and full of flavour. There is outdoor seating as well although you will be plagued by sky rats (pigeons) which is a problem as they are vermin. Also includes the option of a mini yiros for those not fully hungry but wanting the flavour"

"Elite yiros! Popped in for a post shift late yiros and wasn't disappointed. I always go past and see tradies munging into a fat yiros so I knew I could trust this place. I was greeted with friendly service and everything is cooked fresh. My favourite part is when they pull out the makita leaf blower to freshen up the coal grill, absolutely bloody iconic!! Chips were HOT, literally a rarity at most establishments these days. Topped off by being crispy and covered in a delightful amount of chicken salt. I literally ate this after walking home (30 minutes) and it was still hot. Do I recommend waiting 30 minutes to eat it? No, but the fact you can is outstanding. 10/10 bloody stoked."
